Western Digital External Is My Western Digital External Hard Drive Broken?

Is my Western Digital external hard drive broken? - western digital external

my Western Digital 500 GB external hard drive stops working randomly, and one days. When I plug it begins to spin, then clicks, then it is not given up about 5 times, then. The computer reads your connection, but I can not sign anything, it is not in the list of units ...

What options do I have? Please tell me I can to fix it.

Probably dead. Clicks can be found heads, maybe try a reboot.

Have you tried a different USB port? Can you open the box and put the device in the area directly to the IDE port? This could be a SATA drive.

This is definitely a hardware problem. It is necessary to contact the manufacturer or service will receive high-tech look. Probably not easy to solve. Probably not worth the money. You just bought a new one.
